Precedent: Heeley City Farm, Sheffield.
A city based farm which aims to aid surrounding communities with the problems of poverty and lack of opportunity. They help these communities through supporting/promoting regeneration and self help. Their small scale farm houses traditional animals and they also educate about sustainable systems in a specially made eco-house and community garden.

They have regular open hours and open days for school holidays, aimed to educate the public on various topics including composting, gardening and animal husbandry.

Precedent: Hillside Animal Sanctuary, Norwich.
Founded in 1995 to help and campaign for animals in need, to bring public awareness to the millions of animals suffering every day in the intensive factory farming industry. Sanctuary to over 2000 animals, most rescued from the farming industry.

They gain funding through having open days and visitors with a gift shop, animal friendly cafe and the ability to adopt the animals. On a more serious note they carry out farm & animal investigations into cruelty, which have been featured on television and resulted in several convictions.
